Staff Accountant for Pristex Medical

Key Responsibilities Include

• Support the accurate and timely closing of the general ledger, which includes gathering data required for preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, accrual entries, and other finance-related tasks
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts & maintain supporting reconciliations
• Record capital asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and fixed asset depreciation
• Support Accounts Payable process, including entering invoices, expense reports, and processing payments
• Support Accounts Receivable process, including sending invoices, applying payments, collections from client and creating weekly aging reports for review by Chief Financial Officer
• Daily bank reconciliations and weekly cash flow forecast
• Gather data and contribute to the budget/forecast process and variance analysis
• Participate in physical inventory, external audit, and tax return process
• Contribute to process design, improvement, and automation
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Successful Candidates Will Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent is required
• Three to five plus years of related work experience
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented; strong analytical, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with a major ERP system, particularly Oracle NetSuite, is a plus
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Credible track record of meeting deadlines with accuracy and integrity

Compensation

• $45-55k+/year, depending on experience
